📖 Ecosystem Guide & Synchronization Process
1. Setup & Playout (Android & Linux Desktop)
After installing on your smartphone or Linux system (BETA), you can start immediately by adding any number of public wallet addresses (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana) and assigning them custom names. No user account is required for the pure app usage. Thanks to our advanced Smart V2 Engine, token balances (like USDT, USDC, LINK, or WSTETH) are automatically detected in the background – no manual entry of complex contract addresses needed. In the settings, you define your primary fiat currency (CHF, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, JPY) into which the portfolio will be converted.
2. Encrypted API & Synchronization
To fully protect your privacy, all calculations and multiplications are performed exclusively locally on your devices. The apps contact our protected API backend highly securely and end-to-end encrypted. Our backend queries current balances via public blockchain interfaces and returns purely numeric values to the app. Market prices are buffered server-side every 5 minutes and provided via cache. In the free version, background widgets update automatically every 8 hours, while PRO subscribers get full access to real-time priority sync and the manual «pull-to-refresh» gesture.
3. Protected Web User Area
You can create a personal user account via our web portal (email registration required). In the secured user area, you can use advanced portal features to manage and view your saved wallet addresses in a protected vault environment. This area is ideal for analyzing your portfolio performance on a larger screen, checking wallet statuses, or configuring advanced account settings – always protected by modern security and encryption standards.
4. Wear OS Smartwatch Pairing
Install the DBH Crypto Watcher app directly via the Google Play Store on your smartwatch. Open the smartphone app and start the one-time pairing sequence to securely transfer your locally saved wallets to the smartwatch. After this initial setup, the Wear OS app works 100% autonomously (standalone)! The watch does not require a constant Bluetooth connection to the smartphone; instead, it contacts our API independently via Wi-Fi or your mobile network (LTE/4G).
5. Connection to the DBH BTC Mining Pool
You can connect your mining hardware directly via our dedicated pool endpoint pool.cryptowatcher.ch. The pool operates on the solo mining principle with minimal latency and maximum transparency. You can access detailed statistics on your hashrate, found blocks, and connection status directly via the pool’s protected web interface.
